Another job well done and successful outcome! We received process request on an individual who was working at local restaurant located in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, New York. This restaurant has been under new ownership and is currently being renovated. We were asked to attempt service at the location and wait for the subject until he arrived at work for the day. We arrived at 0600 hours to find the location closed. Understanding that we might only have one shot at this service we were committed to staying at the location until it opened, and the subject arrived at work. Approximately, 0830 hours the restaurant opened. We decided to make an inquiry of persons inside location. To our surprise we found the owner present. We inquired about the subject and the owner confirmed that he would be arriving to work between 1100- 1200 hours today. We decided to wait for the subject.
At approximately 1300 hours the subject voluntarily walked up to my car and introduced himself. He asked very politely if we had a personal matter to discuss with him and I replied that we had an Action for a divorce for him that was file in Kings County Supreme Court located at 360 Adams St #4, Brooklyn, NY 11201
He was very upset, and we talked for about thirty minutes. He asked many questions and we exchanged contact information. This man is very involved in his church and told me he is a believer in Jesus Christ. He asked for my advice and I told him to pray on his marriage and to do all he could to reconcile. As a believer we view our work as our ministry and a know that our lord is with us with every serve. We have talked several times since the service, and I look forward to speaking with him in the future.
